Guidelines for print media owners

TGI applies the following guidelines when deciding whether to include or publish data on any title on the NI/ROI TGI surveys.
The purpose of these guidelines:

To maintain the very high quality of the TGI survey, by including only publications that are suitable for that survey.
To help our press subscribers, by providing a firm idea of the types of publications that are suitable for the survey.
Inclusion on the Questionnaire:

We will include a title on TGI survey only if we believe that that title is appropriate to that survey; for example, in terms of its target market and content.
The title must have a regular publication frequency; e.g. daily, weekly or monthly.

The title must be in print at the time of the meeting at which questionnaire content is agreed, so that we can make an informed decision as to whether it is suitable for inclusion.

Circulation and distribution sizes of the titles need to be sufficient to yield sufficient sample sizes for analysis; each title will be carefully considered for inclusion by BMRB.
